Pool Rules and Regulations

  1. Membership cards are required for entry.
  2. Lifeguards have the authority to enforce all rules.
  3. Children under 10 are not permitted to stay at the pool unsupervised.
  4. Children between the ages of 10 & 12 must first pass a swimming test before coming to the pool unsupervised.
  5. At their discretion, lifeguards have the authority to administer a swimming test to any individual ( a swimming test consists of swimming the length of the pool without assistance, treading water for 1 minute, and floating on his/her back for 1 minute.)
  6. No one under 18 years of age is permitted in the adult lap pool unless allowed by a lifeguard.
  7. Children over the age of 5 may not use the wading pool.
  8. Anyone who cannot swim, using water wings or other flotation devices must be supervised by a qualified swimmer & remain within armís reach of the swimmer.
  9. Do not distract the Lifeguards unnecessarily.
  10. The following are not permitted: glass, profanity, illegal substances, running, horseplay, & hanging on the safety rope.
  11. No flips or inward dives are allowed from the side of the pool.
  12. No diving into water less then 5 feet deep.
  13. Inflatable objects are not permitted at any time.
  14. Use of phone is limited to two minutes.
  15. Clean up after yourself.
  16. Leave the property at closing time.
  17. Only employees on duty are permitted to sit at the front gate stand.
  18. In the event of inclement weather, the pool will be closed for 30 minutes after the last visible lightning or sound of thunder.

Diving Board Rules

  1. No swimming in area marked for diving during ëdiveí time.
  2. No double bouncing on diving board.
  3. Only 1 person is allowed on the diving board at a time.
  4. Dive directly in front of board, after making sure the dive area is clear.
  5. Diving with or into flotation devices is not permitted.
  6. No inward dives from the diving board.
  7. No one is allowed to catch an individual jumping off the diving board.
  8. No goggles or face masks may be worn while using the diving board.

General Association Rules

  1. Leave promptly at closing time.
  2. One chair per person.
  3. After eating and drinking, clean up after yourself by placing trash in the proper receptacle.
  4. Only persons over 18 years of age are allowed in the adult lap pool unless otherwise authorized by a lifeguard.

Weather Policy

  1. It is the responsibility of the lifeguard to open or close the pool during a storm. Please listen to them carefully. for everyone's safety.
  2. Thunder dictates the clearing of all pools for a minimum of 20 minutes.
  3. Lightning requires the clearing of all pools as well as surrounding areas for a minimum of 1 hour.
  4. Please listen to the lifeguards carefullyÝfor everyone's safety.

Guest Policy

  1. All guests must be accompanied by a pool member.
  2. All guests must be registered at front gate and paid appropriate fees.
  3. Guest fees are $5.00 per person per day. No partial payments or IOU'swill be accepted!
  4. Sheets of 10 guest passes for $45.00 will be available for purchase while supplies last.
  5. Local guests are limited to 5 visits per summer.
  6. If a guest fee is questioned, the fee should be paid and membership chair contacted to settle dispute.
