Pool Rules and Regulations
- Membership cards are required for entry.
- Lifeguards have the authority to enforce all rules.
- Children under 10 are not permitted to stay at the pool unsupervised.
- Children between the ages of 10 & 12 must first pass a swimming
test before coming to the pool unsupervised.
- At their discretion, lifeguards have the authority to administer
a swimming test to any individual ( a swimming test consists of swimming the
length of the pool without assistance, treading water for 1 minute, and floating
on his/her back for 1 minute.)
- No one under 18 years of age is permitted in the adult lap pool
unless allowed by a lifeguard.
- Children over the age of 5 may not use the wading pool.
- Anyone who cannot swim, using water wings or other flotation
devices must be supervised by a qualified swimmer & remain within armís
reach of the swimmer.
- Do not distract the Lifeguards unnecessarily.
- The following are not permitted: glass, profanity, illegal substances,
running, horseplay, & hanging on the safety rope.
- No flips or inward dives are allowed from the side of the pool.
- No diving into water less then 5 feet deep.
- Inflatable objects are not permitted at any time.
- Use of phone is limited to two minutes.
- Clean up after yourself.
- Leave the property at closing time.
- Only employees on duty are permitted to sit at the front gate
stand.
- In the event of inclement weather, the pool will be closed for
30 minutes after the last visible lightning or sound of thunder.
Diving Board Rules
- No swimming in area marked for diving during ëdiveí time.
- No double bouncing on diving board.
- Only 1 person is allowed on the diving board at a time.
- Dive directly in front of board, after making sure the dive
area is clear.
- Diving with or into flotation devices is not permitted.
- No inward dives from the diving board.
- No one is allowed to catch an individual jumping off the diving
board.
- No goggles or face masks may be worn while using the diving
board.
General Association Rules
- Leave promptly at closing time.
- One chair per person.
- After eating and drinking, clean up after yourself by placing
trash in the proper receptacle.
- Only persons over 18 years of age are allowed in the adult lap
pool unless otherwise authorized by a lifeguard.
Weather Policy
- It is the responsibility of the lifeguard to open or
close the pool during a storm. Please listen to them carefully. for everyone's safety.
- Thunder dictates the clearing of all pools for a minimum of 20 minutes.
- Lightning requires the clearing of all pools as well as surrounding areas for a minimum of 1 hour.
- Please listen to the lifeguards carefullyÝfor everyone's safety.
Guest Policy
- All guests must be accompanied by a pool member.
- All guests must be registered at front gate and paid
appropriate fees.
- Guest fees are $5.00 per person per day. No partial
payments or IOU'swill be accepted!
- Sheets of 10 guest passes for $45.00 will be available for
purchase while supplies last.
- Local guests are limited to 5 visits per summer.
- If a guest fee is questioned, the fee should be paid
and membership chair contacted to settle dispute.
