The LGRA — the Ginter Pool, as it’s sometimes known — has three pools and recreation areas surrounding the historic Ginter Park neighborhood community center. Our members come from the neighborhood, as well as all over the Richmond area to enjoy the company of friends and family.
Swim laps in our adult-only pool, or dive and play with the kids in the main pool. Entertain the toddlers in the wading pool. Grab the gang and cook a feast on the grills. Come out on Friday evenings for family-friendly movies and the occasional game of water volleyball. Enjoy the facilities and activities throughout the year.
The Lewis Ginter Recreation Association’s mission is to own and maintain its facility for the social and recreational purpose of its membership.
Membership is open to neighborhood residents and non-neighborhood residents alike. We begin accepting members on first-come, first-served basis beginning April 1 each year.
